October Snacks:
During the month of October, the children will be enjoying the following snacks: graham crackers and apple juice, saltines and cheese, vanilla wafers and apple juice, Ritz crackers and peanut butter and cinnamon bread or bagels and cream cheese.

Halloween Celebrations:
Halloween is a fun time, but for young children who do not always understand the concept; it can be frightening and upsetting.

At 4CCN we will celebrate Halloween with simple activities that do not include costumes. Our Tuesday/Thursday classes will celebrate Halloween on Thursday, October 30th and Monday Wednesday Friday classes will celebrate on Friday, October 31st.

Tuition Due Date Reminders:
Tuition is due the first consecutive Thursday and Friday of the month. Please note the tuition due dates on your calendar at home. Late fees are $20.00 per week!

Tuition for the two mornings a week program is $220.00 per month and three mornings is $280.00 per month. The five-day morning program is $400.00 per month. We do not expect you to make a special trip to bring in your tuition if your child is sick. You may mail you tuition and the date of the postmark will be considered the date of payment. Please do not write a tuition check if there is a possibility your check might “bounce.” Talk to the Business Manager or Director about permission for a late payment. You will be charged $25.00 for each check the bank returns to the nursery.

We encourage using electronic payments where your bank sends 4CCN a check on the first of each month, October – April.

Dismissal:
Dismissal time for the 2 year olds is 12:15 pm and 1:15 pm for the 3 and 4 year olds. Please pick up promptly. A $5.00 fee will be charged for pick up between 12:15 and 12:30 pm (1:15 and 1:30 pm) and $1.00 per minute after 12:30 (1:30) will be assessed the parent, regardless of carpool arrangements. This fee will be payable to the teacher the next class day.

Even if your child knows the person who is picking him up, we will not release the child unless (A) it is the regular pick up person whom the teacher recognizes; or (B) you, the parent have contacted the nursery and have identified by name the pick up person.

If your child is going home with a friend from class rather than the regular pick up person, you must provide that information to the teacher in a written note.

Preventing Illness:
At 4CCN we wash hands throughout the day. We recommend that you wash your children’s hands when they return home from school preventing the spread of germs.
